Zavier Wright Death – On Saturday morning at approximately 3:40 a.m., deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office arrived to the 13600 block of Spectacled Bear Lane in response to a shooting that had taken place there. The shooting was reported to the authorities by the victim’s mother. Zavier Wright, who was identified as the 25-year-old victim, was shot. The sheriff’s office said that after Wright got home in the wee hours of the morning, his wife allegedly confronted him about being unfaithful and the two then began shouting about the situation.

Hermann Hospital Medical Center

According to the deputies, she shot Wright at that point.The arrival of emergency services at the scene was followed by the transport of Wright via Life Flight to Hermann Hospital Medical Center, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and passed away. HCSO said that as Wright was being transferred, officials discovered a firearm tucked into his belt. Additionally, a second handgun was found on the kitchen table. Homicide and Crime division of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office carried out a follow-up investigation.

On Friday evening, at nine o’clock, Wright’s mother reported seeing Wright’s daughter-in-law armed with a weapon.  The house is owned by the victim’s parents, and at the time of the incident, the victim, his wife, and their two children were residing there. After deputies arrived, Mrs. Wright informed them that she was the one who shot her husband. She was subsequently transported to the Homicide Unit of the Sheriff’s Office, where she disclosed to the deputy staff that she was a victim of domestic violence.

Harris County District Attorney’s Office

After the case was evaluated by a felony prosecutor assigned to the Intake Division of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, a murder charge was accepted against Wright’s wife, and she was taken to the Harris County jail. It was determined by the authorities that there was not enough evidence to formally prosecute her with murder, so she was let go from custody as a result of this finding. A grand jury will be brought in to hear the evidence in this case.
