Flint Shooting – Authorities say a 23-year-old woman was killed and three others injured following a shooting-led crash in downtown Flint on Monday afternoon.
According to the Flint Police Department, officials responded to a shot fired, and a vehicle crash in the area of Second and Harrison streets at approximately 3:20 p.m. Arriving officials located an SUV with four people inside, suffering from multiple gunshot injuries. The victims crashed into a University of Michigan-Flint parking structure on Harrison Street while fleeing the area.
The SUV was seen turned over and was extracted by the Flint Fire Department. A 23-year-old woman was pronounced deceased on the scene. The other two women ages 24 and 21, along with a 21-year-old man, were transported to Hurley Medical Center in unknown condition.
The 24-year-old woman was listed in critical condition, the man was listed in serious condition and the 21-year-old woman was listed in good condition Tuesday morning.
No suspect information was immediately released.
