William K. Dawson of Clinton, TN dies in Anderson County solo-car accident

William Kenneth Dawson Death – Cause of Death : On Monday afternoon, December 6, 2021, at approximately 4 p.m. 18-year-old William Kenneth Dawson, of Clinton, Tennessee was involved in a single-car accident that claimed his life. The crash occurred on Mountain Road in Clinton, Anderson County, Tennessee.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Dawson was a passenger in a 2006 Jeep Liberty driven by a 16-year-old. The car was heading westbound on Mountain Road when the driver of the car veered to the right side of the roadway and struck a tree before coming to an uncontrolled stop. Following the crash, Dawson sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene of the crash. The teen driver of the car was hospitalized with an unknown degree of injuries. Both Dawson and the driver were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

According to Dawson’s obituary, he was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed video games, riding motorcycles, and cars. He enjoyed buying clothes and shoes. He was a good person with lots of friends. He was excited about his future and going to college.

The crash remains under investigation.
