have been identified as the five people that lost their lives after an SUV plowed into Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin around 4:39 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021.  Sorenson, Owen and Durand were members of the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies. 

According report, at least 40 people including a Catholic priest and schoolchildren were also injured in the incident that left the five people dead.  According to Dr. Michael Gutzeit, chief medical officer of the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, “18-chidlren between the ages 3-16 were brought to the hospital following the parade incident” 

Meanwhile, authorities are seeking to charge 39-year-old Darrell Edward Brooks Jr., the suspected driver of the SUV that plowed into the parade killing with five  count charged of intentional homicide.

A vigil was held on Monday in honor of the the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies killed.
