It is with a heavy heart that the Victorian road racing community share the tragic news of the unexpected and sudden passing of our friend, fellow racer and club mate Brendan Holden.
Brendan tragically lost his life to a motorcycle accident on Friday 19 November 2021. A life taken too soon.
His partner Luisa who was travelling with him is currently fighting for life. We send Luisa all of our thoughts and wish her strength at this time. We are all thinking of you.
Brendan was a bright and motivated young man who wore a huge grin in the pits and always had a positive attitude to all things in life. He was known for being willing to help anyone at any time. He loved his bike riding/racing and was very competitive, always coupled with a bit of cheeky banter in the pits.

Brendan also loved the racing community and Preston Club and raced in club colours, recently riding in the Preston MCC Team Shield races at the Interclub Road Racing Series. He also competed in the Victorian Road Racing Championships and Hartwell MCC racing series. The community is devastated by the loss.
Our deepest condolences go out to Brendan’s family and friends in these difficult times and we encourage you all to look out for each other and check on your mates”.
