Tyeanna Morris, mom of five dies in Lancaster County car accident-GoFundMe

Tyeanna Monae Morris Death – Cause of Death : 24-year-old mother of five, Tyeanna Monae Morris, of Hummelstown has passed away following injuries suffered from a two-car accident that happened on Monday morning, December 6, 2021. The double-car crash that resulted in fatality happened on Route 30 in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the mother of five was driving a Ford Escape westbound in the 2900 block of Lincoln Highway East with 22-year-old Tyjmere Edwards of Philadelphia as a passenger when she crossed the centreline into the eastbound lane and collided with a tractor-trailer driven by Maciej Gasienica-Sobczak, 45, of Chicago heading eastbound.

After the collision, both Morris and her 22-year-old passenger were trapped in the car. They were both extricated from the car by the Ronks Fire Company and transported to Lancaster General Hospital where Morris succumbed to her injuries. While Edwards is still hospitalized in stable condition. On the other hand, the tractor-trailer driver, Gasienica-Sobczak did not sustain injuries.

Following Morris’s death, a GoFundMe account has been launched by Destiny Slade to support her family with the funeral expenses. According to the GoFundme, Morris left behind three sons and two daughters all under the age of 8. “On December 6th we received tragic news that my Sister Tyeanna Morris has been called home. She leaves behind 3 handsome sons & 2 beautiful daughters all under the age of 8. She was taken away from us too soon, one month before her 25th birthday. With the holidays coming up the family doesn’t have all the resources to give her a proper burial. If you could find it in your hearts anything donated is greatly appreciated”  

The crash remains under investigation.

Tyeanna Monae Morris’s obituary will be released by her family.
