Two Turlock teens killed in Ceres DUI accident identified

Yahir Ulises Gomez Valladar, Favian Reinoso Death – Cause of Death : Yahir Ulises Gomez Valladar and Favian Reinoso, both 19, have been identified by authorities as the two Turlock teens that lost their lives in a suspected DUI accident. The crash occurred on Saturday night, December 11, 2021, at approximately 7:58 p.m at the intersection of Whitmore Avenue and Crows Landing Road in Ceres, California.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Valladar and Reinoso were diving a 2008 Nissan sedan eastbound on W. Whitmore Avenue. The Nissan drove through the intersection on a green light before being struck by a 2019 white Ford F350 driven by 28-year-old Danielle Morgan, of Fair Oaks heading southbound that drove through the intersection on a red light. The impact of the collision pushed the Nissan into the northbound lanes of Crows Landing Road.

Both teens sustained serious injuries and were both pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile,  Danielle has been apprehended on suspicion of felony driving under the influence and two counts of murder.

The crash remains under investigation.
