Two men killed in Marion County single-vehicle accident

OCAKLAWAHA — At least two persons have died in a fatal car accident that happened in southeast Marion County on Thursday morning, December 16, 2021, around 2:27 a.m.

According to report, an older model Chrysler Town & Country minivan occupied by two persons was heading west in the 11600 block of County Road 464C when it went off the road and crashed with a tree. The officials got to the scene and pronounced the occupants; a 50-year-old man from Keystone Heights and his passenger a 37-year-old man from Bell dead.

The officials are yet to release the names of the deceased persons pending the notification of their next of kin.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Authorities.
