Two injured in North Austin Shooting, suspect identified

 North Austin Shooting – Investigators with the Austin Police Department are probing a shooting incident on Harmon Avenue, just west of I-35 through Central Austin that left two persons injured early Tuesday morning.

According to the Austin Police Department, the shooting was reported at 4719 Harmon Avenue. Officials responded on receiving a call from one of the victims at approximately 4:53 a.m. Police arrived at the scene at about 5 a.m. and located two victims, one victim with a gunshot to the head, and the other with a gunshot to the lower body.

The two unidentified victims were transported by Austin-Travis County EMS to an area trauma center where they were listed in critical but stable condition. Investigators say a possible suspect has been identified but did not disclose if they have the person in custody Tuesday morning.
