MIAMI – On Sunday, December 19, 2021, around 10:15 a.m., Authorities reported a two-vehicle accident that caused serious injuries on two persons. The accident occurred near the intersection of Southwest 22nd Avenue and 8th Street in Miami.
The preliminary investigation stated that the two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Southwest 22nd Avenue and 8th Street for an unknown reason. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to catch fire.
Officials got to the scene after receiving calls regarding the crash and ejected two persons. They got critical injuries and were transported to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment. The other two occupants of the involved vehicles refused to be treated, according to the officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
