Troy Gas Station shooting victim identified as 27-year-old Clio resident

Zacharias Devonta McClendon Death – Cause Of Death: 27-year-old Zacharias Devonta McClendon of Clio has been identified by the Troy police as a victim of a fatal shooting that took place at the Ztec in the 800 block of U.S. Highway 231 on Sunday 14th November 2021 at about 2:30 a.m.

According to the report, Troy police, ALEA, and the Pike County Sheriff’s Office reacted, after they heard a series of gunshots coming from the parking area, on their arrival, they found Zacharias and two other victims struck by the bullet, Zacharias was pronounced dead at the scene the other two victims were transported to a Montgomery hospital to be taken care of and were discharged in a short while.

Three other victims that were also shot were located by the authorities and were transported to Troy Regional Medical Center for treatment, at the time of this publication two of the there victims were discharged.
