Treshawn Plater shot to death on Thorntons Way in Winston-Salem

Treshawn Plater Death – Cause Of Death: WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) – 22-year-old Treshawn Plater was shot and killed on Thorntons Way in Winston-Salem on Wednesday 13th December 2021. Winston-Salem is a city in and the county seat of Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States.[4] In 2020, the population was 249,545 making it the second-largest municipality in the Piedmont Triad region, the fifth most populous city in North Carolina, the third-largest urban area in North Carolina, and the 89th most populous city in the United States.

Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Thorntons Way after a call was put through to them on a shooting report, upon their arrival they located Treshawn Plater suffering from gunshot wounds, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Emergency medical services. The investigation is still ongoing by the investigative bodies.

Officials revealed that Treshawn Plater’s death has marked Winston-Salem 35th homicide reported compared to last year’s 29 homicides.
