Kal and Lucille Rudman Cause of Death – Passed Away: 91-year-old Kal Rudman, a legendary South Jersey music industry insider, died tragically on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, after a long illness. Lucille, Kal’s wife, passed two days after her husband. She died at their Cherry Hill home.
Kal Rudman was born in Philadelphia. He graduated from Central High School and the University of Pennsylvania. He began his music career as a late-night DJ on Top 40 station WCAM in Camden. He also work as a science school teacher and worked for Billboard as the magazine’s rhythm and blues editor.

Kal was a legendary radio veteran and founder and publisher of the Friday Morning Quarterback (FMQB) radio-industry “tip sheet.” For his work as an announcer for World Wrestling Federation broadcasts, Kal Rudman was dubbed “Killer Kal” by wrestling fans.
Bruce Springsteen stated that he paid a visit to Rudman following the release of his 1978 album Darkness on the Edge of Town in order to better understand why he wasn’t charting. Kal Rudman was named a 2011 Lew Klein Alumni Honoree by Temple University, where he earned a graduate degree.
