For those of you who don’t know Quentin “Quinn” Campbell took his own life on the GVSU campus Thursday night. I attended a memorial for him at the bridge. It was cold and it was silent as all of his friends and peers cried for him. He had so many things he was excited for, so many things he was going to do in this world. Mental health is something everyone has struggled with at some point in time, some worse than others. His family wants everyone to know how serious mental health is, they want us to share his story and let everyone know they are not alone. You are amazing. You have a life ahead of you. You have a future ahead of you. Someone is counting on you. Someone needs you. You will be successful. Chris Rapes was the first person to teach me this… and I will never forget it. Please always remember how special you are, and get help when you need it. I love you. I am here for you.
