Tony Serve, 6PR presenter and journalist has passed away

Tony Serve Death – Cause of Death : Vale Tony Serve, Former 6PR presenter, Social Media Producer, Mental Health support has died. Tony Serve of Waterford, Western Australia, Australia passed away after a long battle with various cancers. The news was broken today by his son. He said: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce that our black knight has shuffled off his mortal coil. Dad passed away this afternoon after what was the toughest period of his life, enduring various cancers and fighting valiantly through each day to do his best.”

According to his LinkedIn page, Tony Serve got a bachelor’s degree in media, radio, and journalism from Murdoch University in 2003 and a degree in media, radio, and journalism from Murdoch University in 2004. He also attended Applecross Senior High School and graduated with honors. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Psychology from Curtin University in 1975. He worked as a Broadcast & Online Journalist/Host/Producer – 6PR Talks host, media geek for at NGOs, NFPs, and Activist Groups, as a Radio Talkback Host, Online Producer at Radio 6PR, a radio talkback host, news editor at 6PR, and ex 6PR host 3 to Chloe.

Lindsay Brennan also released a statement regarding the loss of the Former 6PR presenter: “Saddened to hear of the passing of 6PR presenter and journalist Tony Serve. Tony was always willing to help a young journo out. He was a champion of the underdog. Mostly, he loved his sons.”
