Tony Pidgley Death – Dead | Passed Away | Obituary

The Berkeley Group Holdings Plc has made a loss known to the public. Tony Pidgley, founder and chairman of Berkeley Group has died at the age of 72, he died suddenly in the early hours of  Friday 26 June 2020.

This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.

Sad news: Tony Pidgley, the founder and chairman of Berkeley has died. Rob Perrins, CEO, said: “Tony was a brilliant man who I have been fortunate to work closely with for 20 years. He started Berkeley by building one house and his vision grew into a FTSE 100 company.”

I read with deep sadness of the announcement by @BerkeleyGroupUK that it’s founder and industry legend Tony Pidgley has died. I cannot claim to have known Tony well, but I so respected his views and his standing in the residential market, and he brought energy to any discussion.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Tony Pidgley, the inspirational founder of @BerkeleyGroupUK, a self-made man who transformed the lives of many, many people, and who cared deeply about the communities in which they lived. The world could do with a few more people like him.
