Todd Hodges Death – Cause of Death : 50-year-old Todd Hodges of Elwell, Gratiot County as been identified as the man that died in a single-car accident that happened around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 21 on North Warner Road at the intersection of W. Tyler Road and W. Harrison Road in Summer Township.
According to officials, Hodges who was the sole occupant of the truck was driving northbound on North Warner Road when the vehicle crossed the centerline, entered a ditch before crashing into a tree. Authorities suspect that Hodges may have suffered medical emergency or was distracted prior to crash.
It was not mentioned if Hodges was pronounced dead at the scene or if he died at the hospital. An autopsy is be scheduled.
He was not wearing a seatbelt and the times of the crash and authorities do not suspect speed and alcohol to be factors in the crash. The Alma District Fire Department, Alma Rescue and Mobile Medical Response
Following his death, Mike Frederick has taken to his Facebook page to mourn his demise “Today going to be hard day can’t stop thinking of all the good times we had fly high brother you are going to be missed but you gave us so many great memories that you will never be forgotten until we ride again Todd Hodges do a burn out for me up there in heaven”
