Thomas Mattingly death – passed away: Thomas Mattingly, 23-year-old, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully. Born  Thomas Unsell Mattingly, Jr. in Dallas, Texas, on October 6, 1997, to his beloved parents Pam and Matt Mattingly. He was a little brother to his sister Ginny. He attended The Lamplighter School and then St. Marks. After high school, he proceeded to the University of South Carolina.

Thomas is survived by his mother, Pamela Pappas Mattingly; sister Virginia “Ginny” Mattingly; grandmother Betty Jean Blakewell; aunts Mersina Stubbs and Lynn Mattingly; cousins Phin, John Marshall, and Pete Stubbs; his Nana, Maria Aparicio and family.

Dallas, a modern metropolis in north Texas, is a commercial and cultural hub of the region. Downtown’s Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza commemorates the site of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963. In the Arts District, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Crow Collection of Asian Art cover thousands of years of art. The sleek Nasher Sculpture Center showcases contemporary sculpture.

A memorial service will be held at the chapel at St. Mark’s School of Texas, 10600 Preston Road, Dallas at 2 pm on Friday, December 17, 2021.
