4 children dead, 5 hospitalized following Hillcrest primary school bouncy castle accident in Devonport, Tasmania 

Four school children have reportedly lost their lives, and at least four others were injured following Hillcrest primary school, bouncy jumping castle accident. The tragic incident happened on Thursday at Hillcrest primary school fun day in Devonport, Tasmania, Australia.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the children fell from a bouncy castle that was blown 10 meters (33 feet) into the air by a gust of wind at the school on Australia’s island in Tasmania. Following the incident, four children – two boys and two girls were pronounced dead on the spot while five others were hospitalized in critical condition.

Prior to the incident, the school was holding its end-of-school-year party.
