Suspect in custody after officer-involved shooting in Phoenix

Phoenix Police Officer – A suspect is in custody after an officer with the Phoenix Police Department was transported to the hospital with gunshot injuries near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Camelback Road.

The incident was reported near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Camelback Road. The scene near the intersection to the scene as officials investigate the incident. No time has been disclosed for possible reopening. The condition of the officer is not known at this time.
