Susan Hess dies following a gas leak at a home in Bucks County

Susan Hess Death – Cause of Death – The identity of the woman who died from a gas leak at their Bucks County home, has been revealed as 51-year-old Susan Hess. According to the police, the incident happened around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 8th of December 2021 inside a home on the 2000 block of Old Bethlehem Pike in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. Susan, her 54-year-old husband and 31-year-old son were all inside their home when gas began to leak, NBC10 news reported.

The Pennridge Regional Police said in a release that Susan’s other son arrived at the home and smelled the gas. He forced his way into the house, found his parents and his brother inside and tried to remove them out of the house but unfortunately, Hess was pronounced dead at the scene. The police said the incident may be as a result of a faulty appliance inside the house but are still investigating.

Susan’s husband and youngest son were both taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem and later transferred to Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx New York for hyperbaric oxygen therapy due to their carbon monoxide levels. They are expected to survive.
