Stephanie Franklin death – cause of death –  NC: Stephanie Franklin, 43-year-old, of Leland and Brevard, North Carolina passed away as after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Saturday, December 11, 2021. She is the beloved daughter of Sandra G. Beck of Brevard and Tommy Franklin of Mills River and a sister to Lora Meadows, Robert Franklin, and Jeff Franklin.

We are going to miss Stephanie Franklin terribly. She was so fun to be around, genuine, an encourager, and compassionate. During the recent period of cancer treatments, her faith in Jesus seemed to never waver. She always had a great attitude and was ready to laugh with you about most anything. She was a student at the UNC CCF and graduated in 2000 while Frank and Debbie Dodson were ministering there. She served college students at UNC Asheville and UNC Wilmington as an advisor. She served on the Board of Directors in 2014-2020 and was the secretary for many of those years. She was also a long-time financial partner. You could pray for us, the CCF family she leaves behind, but definitely pray that God is close to her parents and siblings at this time. Thank You, Stephanie! I can’t wait to see you again. Campus Christian Fellowship shared on Facebook.

She was an Academic Advisor and Adjunct Instructor at UNC-Wilmington. Prior to moving to the coast, she worked at UNC-Asheville. Stephanie was a member of the Cape Fear Christian Church in Wilmington, North Carolina, and attended Dunn’s Rock Baptist Church during her year in Brevard, North Carolina.

She is survived by her parents, Sandra G. Beck and Tommy Franklin, a sister Lora Meadows, brothers Robert Franklin (Penny) and Jeff Franklin of Mills River. Aunts Linda Franklin, Lucille Shipman, and great aunt Shirley Moon, Stepfather J. L. Beck, Sr., step-brothers J Beck, Jr., Beck, and step-sister Jeanne Beck Pulley.
