Stan Hindman, a three-time All-SEC offensive lineman for Ole Miss, died at the age of 76 on July 15. After college, Hindman was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 1966 NFL Draft and played in 76 games across seven seasons. After his NFL career, Hindman stayed in San Francisco and became an architect. Condolences to his family and friends and may he Rest in Peace.

We are saddened to hear of Stan Hindman’s passing. Years ago we had the pleasure of digitizing many UM historical films. This play featuring Mr. Hindman running down LSU’s Joe Labruzzo after a long punt return will always have a place in UM football lore.
