Stamford resident seriously injured in Stamford motorcycle accident

17-year-old  Stamford resident hospitalized in critical condition following Stamford motorcycle 

A 17-year-old Stamford resident has sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident that happened on Monday night, November 22, 2021, in Stamford, Connecticut. The accident involving a motorcycle and a Nissan pickup truck happened around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Elm Street and North State Street.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the 17-year-old Stamford resident was operating a motorcycle southbound on Elm Street when he collided with the truck that was operated by a 21-year-old Stamford resident, that reportedly went into the path of the motorcycle. The 17-year-old Stamford resident sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Stamford Hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No other detail was released. The crash remains under investigation, anyone with information is asked to call the police at 203-977-4712.
