Stacy Lewis killed in solo-car accident in Dawson County, GA

Stacy William Lewis Death – Cause of Death : 53-year-old Stacy William Lewis, of Dawsonville has lost his life in a single-car accident that happened in Dawson County, Georgia. The accident happened around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the intersection of Afton Road and Amicalola Church Road. Lewis was pronounced dead as a result of blunt force trauma injuries sustained from the crash.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Chevy was operating his Chevy 2500 pickup truck northbound on Afton Road in Dawson County when he tried making a right curve and his vehicle veered to the opposite direction. The vehicle then crossed the centreline, swerved to the left side of the roadway, and drove through a barrier, and struck on the river’s side of the car.

Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash due to the severity of injuries suffered while his 10-year-old grandson was transported by medics with non-life-threatening injuries to Egleston Hospital for treatment.
