Siyanda Mangaliso Death: South African Rugby player passed away

Siyanda Mangaliso death – cause of death: Siyanda Mangaliso, a former rugby player at Grey High passed away suddenly. Philasande Sixaba @psixaba shared the news of Siyanda’s passing in a post on Twitter. He tweeted that “Heard of the passing of Siyanda Mangaliso today. Really talented rugby player who formed one of the best back-row partnerships with Siya Kolisi at Grey High.”

Siyanda Mangaliso and Siyamthanda Kolisi is a South African professional rugby union player who currently captains the South Africa national team and also plays club rugby for the Sharks in the Currie Cup and generally plays as a flanker. They were neighbors only at their hostel at Grey High School in Port Elizabeth. Kolisi’s family lives in Zwide, while Mangaliso’s family lives in Walmer township.

Both were identified for their rugby talent and provided bursaries to Grey, where they thrived. Siya and Siya became best friends. They played No7 and 8 on the first team, captained by Mangaliso. In a 2009 interview, Kolisi called Mangaliso his “biggest influence”. Both had professional contracts before they left school. According to Mail&Guardian.

Hlumelo Mubarak Ncopo a resident of Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape shared the news on Facebook on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, he wrote that “Sad to learn of the passing away of Siyanda Mangaliso aka Beast. One of the best schoolboy rugby players I have ever seen and played against. Beast always seemed to be a cut above everyone but always played the game with a big smile. A fierce competitor on the field but a good gentleman off the field.”

Siyanda Mangaliso’s obituary will be organized by the family.
