I’m saddened to hear the news of the passing of 102-year-old Sidney Walton, a member of the Greatest Generation and a World War II veteran. I was honored to meet with him in November of 2019 on his “No Regrets Tour”. Sidney had a goal of meeting all 50 governors across the country, raising awareness for veterans issues, and I was number 24. People across the globe owe an unpayable debt to Sidney and his fellow WWII veterans, without whom the world would be a much darker place. I offer my sincere condolences to his family, friends, and the thousands of people whose lives he touched.
