It is with great sadness that I share the news that beloved Brooklynite, Buddy Scotto, passed away yesterday. For all who knew Buddy, he was Brooklyn personified. He had stories, let me tell you… and he knew people great, and not so-great. He would gladly tell you about his political successes, and failures. But what I loved most about Buddy is that he never made this (young) woman (at the time) feel anything less than a force to be reckoned with. Brooklyn is a great place, in large part, due to his efforts. Buddy will be missed.
