Ryan Hill death – cause of death: Ryan Hill, 37-year-old, of Ottawa, a firefighter with the Ottawa Professional Fire Fighters’ Association and a OFD hockey player passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 20, 2021. He died just a few hours after his 37th birthday. He was diagnosed with cancer in January 2021. He left behind his beloved wife and children. His passing was announced by Ottawa Fire Services.
Ryan was an active member of the Ottawa Professional Fire Fighters’ Association. He joined the Ottawa Fire Services in 2012. He was known by his peers for his contagious smile and love for the job. He leaves behind his wife, Patricia, and four-year-old twin boys, Ryker and Reilly. He was always a player at OFD hockey. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and the all Ottawa community.
