Ryan Hendrix Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Ryan Hendrix.
Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.
This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.
Police were dispatched to a home where the owner was exchanging gunfire with Robert Ray Doss Jr — who was breaking into his car and had broken the bedroom window of his house. Deputy Ryan Hendrix approached Doss who was sitting in a pickup truck across the street from the home.
“The suspect initially appeared to comply with orders to show the deputies his hands. But in one rapid movement, he retrieved a gun, firing one round, striking Deputy Hendrix in the face and critically wounding him.”
Two other officers returned fire, ultimately killing Robert Doss. Doss had prior convictions in SC, GA, MD and VA for drugs and theft.
Deputy Hendrix was 35 years old, a marine veteran and father of two children, a 6 yr old boy and 9 yr old girl.

Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina Deputy Sheriff Ryan Hendrix was shot and killed when he responded to a vehicle tampering and shooting call in the area of Bethea Drive and Piney Ridge Drive in Mountain Home.
A citizen called 911 at about 3:00 am after discovering two subjects breaking into a vehicle. The citizen retrieved a firearm and confronted the subjects. One of the subjects had stolen a firearm from the vehicle and the two exchanged gunshots.
Deputy Hendrix and other deputies arrived on scene and confronted the subject, who was wanted on a warrant for parole violation. The man initially complied with commands but then grabbed the handgun and opened fire, striking Deputy Hendrix. The other deputies returned fire and killed the subject. The second subject was apprehended.
Deputy Hendrix was transported to a local hospital where it was determined he could not survive. He was declared medically deceased so that his organ could be donated.
Deputy Hendrix was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and had served with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office for eight years. He is survived by his two children and fiancée.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, September 10th, 2020 Deputy Sheriff Ryan Hendrix responded to a call about multiple subjects breaking into vehicles. Deputy Sheriff Ryan Hendrix and other deputies arrived on scene and confront the subject when gunfire was exchanged and Deputy Sheriff Ryan Hendrix was struck by gunfire in the line of duty. Deputy Sheriff Ryan Hendrix was transported to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries. Deputy Sheriff Ryan Hendrix was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and 8 year veteran of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Sheriff Ryan Hendrix is survived by his fiancé and two children.
