Ruth Ginsburg Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Ruth Ginsburg.
Today we mourn the loss of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. A tireless advocate for justice and equality, a champion of rights for women and persons with disabilities, she was an inspiration to generations of Americans.
Today we have lost a true champion who protected the rights of all Americans. We have lost an ally and a trailblazer who fought long and hard against injustice. Ruth Bader Ginsburg you inspired generations of women. Your words and powerful dissents are part of the impressive legacy you leave behind. We will continue the work. Thank you Notorious RBG ✊🏽#RestInPower #VOTE #VOTE2020
Feminist icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died at the age of 87
Against all prejudice, she had climbed the scale of the American judicial system and was the dean of the American Supreme Court.
This is the life of an exceptional woman, RBG.
Tonight in the United States, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, U.S. supreme court judge, died, who has always been attentive to the defense of civil rights and especially women, has become a symbol of reformism and progressism, loved even among young people. He had long been fighting cancer and shortly before he died he had made a wish: that his successor was not chosen by current President Donald Trump. It’s only been a few hours since his death and Trump said he’s already ready for a new nomination, a legitimate choice but considered inappropriate, so close to the vote. Obama himself renounced, in 2016, to nominate a new judge, leaving the choice to his successor.
On the other hand, Trump and the Conservatives have a clear goal in their head: to eliminate the famous Roe Vs Wade ruling, which in 1973 enshrined women’s right to the difficult choice of abortion throughout the federal territory. A fundamental achievement for female empowerment would be blown away by the decision of a group of men who think they can decide what’s best for women. Here, these are the sovereigns: the Middle Ages, in 2020.
We are saddened by the passing of US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was a role model in leadership excellence. We were honoured to publish a book with her earlier this year, in our I KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE series. A luta continua. #RIPRBG

#RuthBaderGinsburg was probably Nabokov’s most famous pupil, and she often claimed he ‘taught me the importance of choosing the right word and presenting it in the right word order’.
Remembering RBG as a ceaseless voice for equality and justice — and that #ArtsDegreesMatter

“When I’m sometimes asked, when will there be enough women on the Supreme Court, and I say, ‘When there are nine,’ people are shocked. But there’d been nine men, and nobody’s ever raised a question about that.” ― Ruth Bader Ginsburg #RBG

Sad to hear of the passing of #RuthBaderGinsburg. On the one hand we are reminded of a true female titan, respected around the world. On the other hand, we see how deeply flawed & disastrously politicised the US justice system is, as Republicans aim to rig #SCOTUS in their favour

Homage to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a diminutive yet towering women’s rights champion who became the court’s second female justice.
You honoured your position & made a clearer path for women to follow.
R.I.P. #RuthBaderGinsberg.

#RBGinspiration In my first semester in law school in Berlin I was shocked to only be taught by male professors. Today in my work as law professor and president of the German Women Lawyers Association I still draw inspiration from #RuthBaderGinsburg

Honestly feeling numb at waking up to the loss of a heroine today. I came downstairs, and found the Yorkshire morning sun falling perfectly on this image on my wall. We owe her so much.#RuthBaderGinsburg #RIPRBG

“I … try to teach through my opinions, through my speeches, how wrong it is to judge people on the basis of what they look like, color of their skin, whether they’re men or women.”
Desperately sad news to wake up to. Rest in peace Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Thank you, Justice Ginsberg. You blazed a trail with grace, intelligence, wisdom, and wit. You changed the world and left a legacy. Thank you for inspiring us all to speak up for what we know is right, to hold fast to our morals, question and challenge the injustices of the world, and persist against seemingly insurmountable odds. You will never be forgotten. May we all all follow in your footsteps and live by your example. #RuthBaderGinsburg #RBG #thoughshebebutlittlesheisfierce #shefoughtforusnowwefightforher

AP Explains: Why the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has thrust the Senate into uncharted political terrain. There’s no recent precedent for a Supreme Court vacancy so close to an election.

It’s pathetic if it takes the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg for progressives to understand the judicial consequences of elections the way conservatives do. But I’ll take it. We failed her heroic legacy in 2016. We cannot afford to do it again. Vote.
