Rubin Nolt identified as Berk teen killed in bike accident near Morgantown

Update: Rubin Nolt Death – Cause of Death : 16-year-old Rubin Nolt, of Mohnton, has been identified by officials as the Berk County teen that lost his life in a single-motorcycle accident that happened near Morgantown. The incident took place around 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, November 28, 2021. on Route 23 approximately halfway between Blue Ball and Morgantown in the area of the ChurchTown village in Lancaster County.

According to report, Nolt was operating his motorcycle at high speed eastbound on Route 23 when he lost control of the motorcycle, veered off the roadway, struck a mailbox and a utility pole.  After the collision, the bike kept traveling for about 100 feet before coming to a stop.

Nolt sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Rubin Nolt’s obituary will be released by his family.
