Royce Van Vleck identified as man killed in fiery crash on Northwest Side

Royce Van Vleck Death – Cause Of Death: 32-year-old Royce Van Vleck has been identified as the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as the man that was killed in a deadly fiery crash that took place on the Northwest Side on Saturday 4th December 2021. The Northwest Side is a sprawling residential area with parkland that includes the Leon Creek Greenway, known for its wildflowers and trails through cottonwood groves, and Friedrich Park, with woodlands and rare songbirds.

According to information, Royce Van Vleck was driving a truck when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail before exploding into flames. Police responded to the crash in the 12000 block of Culebra Road and located Vleck trapped inside the truck, he was rescued and pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is still under investigation as the cause of the explosion has not been determined.
