Roger Russell dies in Moraga bicycle accident

Roger Russell Death – Cause of Death :  On Friday morning, November 26, 2021, 77-year-old Roger Russell, of Moraga was involved in a bicycle-car accident that claimed his life. The incident happened on Moraga Road near Lucas Drive at about 10:15 a.m. in Moraga, California.

According to report, Russell was cycling that on Moraga Road, near Lucas Drive on the fateful Friday morning when he was struck by another vehicle. He sustained serious blunt force trauma injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the car remained and the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Moraga is a town in Contra Costa County, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The town is named in honor of Joaquín Moraga, member of the famed Californio family, son of Gabriel Moraga, and grandson of José Joaquín Moraga, famous 18th century expeditionaries of Alta California.
