Regina Marie Zelik has passed away at home on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021. She died after a 3-plus year battle with ovarian cancer.
Regina was born April 1, 1955, in Baltimore, Md. to Floyd and Cecilia Grant. She was raised on W. Fayette Street just north of Fulton Avenue.
Regina is predeceased by her parents, and by her siblings, Lawrence, John, Teressa, Michael, Carmelita, Joseph, Paul, Elizabeth, and Floyd.
Regina is survived by: Howard, her husband of 44 years; sons, Daniel (Allison), Karl (Tiffany) and Jonpaul (Emily), Samuel; siblings, Mary, Anthony, and Charles; and grandchildren, Paxton, Winston, Raphael, Dex, Nahla Avery.
Visitation is from 1 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at BEINHAUER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (McMurray, PA). Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Parish, St. Thomas More Church beginning promptly at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct, 11. Recitation of the Rosary will begin about 9:15 followed by a musical prelude at 9:40 a.m.
For Mass, please meet at St. Thomas More Church (126 Fort Couch Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241). Father Jim Chepponis will be the celebrant. Regina will be buried at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (US-19, McMurray, PA 15317) following the Mass. Ladies, in Regina’s memory, feel free to wear a beautiful smile and a beautiful hat to the visitation and/or funeral Mass.
