Randy Gowton Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Randy Gowton.
Westmoreland County Coroner, Kenneth A. Bacha, has released the following information on a motorcycle fatality that occurred in Cook Township. On July 15, 2020, at approximately 9:50 PM, the decedent, Randy C. Gowton, 50 y/o male from Bullskin Township, Fayette County, was the operator and lone occupant of a 2003, Yamaha motorcycle, traveling south on State Route 711. The decedent struck a deer and was separated from the motorcycle. Deputy Coroner Joshua C. Zappone pronounced the decedent dead at the scene. The decedent was not utilizing a helmet at the time of the incident. The cause of death has been determined to be multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death has been ruled accidental. Toxicology results will not be available for several weeks. A funeral home has not been chosen at this time. Pennsylvania State Police Greensburg Barracks also investigated.
