Ralph Harris of Loris dies in auto-pedestrian accident on Rush Road

Ralph Harris Death – Cause of Death : 74-year-old  Ralph Harris, of Loris, Horry County has been identified by the Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard as the man that lost his life in an auto-pedestrian accident. The accident happened at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday night, November 23, 2021, in Horry County, South Carolina.

According to authorities, Harris was attempting to cross the road on Rush Road, near Long Avenue Extension when he was struck by a 2020 Chevy van heading southbound. Harris sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No information was revealed about the Chevy driver.

Investigation into the incident is still ongoing by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
