Margaret Giannini Death – Cause Of Death: Margaret Giannini, a pioneer, and champion of people with disabilities has passed away on Monday 22nd November 2021 at the age of 100 in San Diego, Margaret’s cause of death was not released. San Diego is a city on the Pacific coast of California known for its beaches, parks, and warm climate. Immense Balboa Park is the site of the renowned San Diego Zoo, as well as numerous art galleries, artist studios, museums, and gardens.
Margaret was born on 27th May in the year 1921 to Francesco (Francis) and Rose Antonia Giordano Giannini both from Italy in Camden, New Jersey, U.S. Camden is a city in and the county seat of Camden County, New Jersey. Camden is located directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the 2010 U.S. Census, the city had a population of 77,344. Margaret was named Woman of the Year by the American Women’s Medical Association in the year In 1960. She was awarded the Elizabeth Seton Medal by the Seton Hill College Alumnae Association in the year 1983.
She graduated from Camden High School and proceeded to Boston University and Temple University, she obtained her medical degree at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in 1945. Margaret was the director of the National Institute of Handicapped Research (now NIDRR) in the year 1980 and later became director of the Veterans Administration’s Rehabilitation Research and Development Service in 1981.
