Peter Silverman, a Canadian broadcaster has died on Thursday 7th of October 2021. Peter passed away at the of 90.
The cause of his death has not been released to be public yet.
Silverman’s death is made known by Cristina Tenaglia via Twitter saying;
“Peter Silverman was an incredible person, broadcaster, and former @CityNews ombudsman.”
She tweeted: “Who in his off hours worked to help people whose stories he knew we couldn’t get to the air. He was 90 years old. He’s married to his amazing wife, who I call Mama, for an app. 50 years.”
The Canadian journalist became a member of the Toronto radio station CFRB, with the role of a host in the Peter Silverman Show, a Saturday morning radio show.
He attended and graduated from the University of Toronto, where he earned a Ph.D. degree.
He has successfully published two books on child welfare, and child protection in Canada, named Who Speaks for the Children? and Voices of a Lost Generation.
