Patrick Adrell of Huntington Station dies in West Hills, NY two-car accident

Patrick Adrell Death – Cause of Death : 42-year-old Patrick Adrell, of Huntington Station, has died of injuries suffered from a two-car accident that took place on Sunday morning, December 12, 2021.  The crash occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. in West Hills, Suffolk County, New York.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Adrell was operating a 2009 Nissan Versa eastbound on Jericho Turnpike, near the intersection of East Gate Drive when he lost control of the car, veered off the roadway, and entered the westbound lane, and collided with a 2014 Honda minivan driven by 38-year-old Angel Sagastizado, of Hicksville.

Following the collision, Adrell suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Sagastizado was also taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.

Investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing by the Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives. Anyone with information is asked to call 631-854-8252. Meanwhile, both cars were impounded for safety checks.

Patrick Adrell’s obituary will be released by his family.
