At the age of 84 the children’s Television presenter, Rick Jones died.
Jones was a Canadian-born, lived in the United States in San Francisco with his wife. He was born in February 1937 in London.
Rick Jones started his career in television by co-hosting Play School, daily programmed for pre-school-age children, he often sang songs and play guitar.
In 1972, He went to become the presenter of Fingerbobs, which he creates characters from finger puppets. Jones was one of the several presenters who took turns to present We Want To Sing and also had a success as a musician, fronting British country rock band Meal Ticket.
Garry Vaux said in a tribute on Twitter that Jones was a huge creative spirit and a talented musician.
A lot of fans were left heartbroken and shared their funds memories of watching Jones during his presentation, mostly as children.
