Richard (Dick) Thomas Barron Obituary
On Oct. 11, 2021. Richard (Dick) Thomas Barron, of Champion, Pa, aged 73, passed away at home on Monday.
He was born in May 23, 1948, in Belle Vernon, by Mildred Mutich and Bernsard Barron.
Dick was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School in 1966. He also served in the US Army, 32nd Artillery with active duty in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969.
He was awarded the Army Commendation Metal for Meritorious service. He was a proud supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and also a member of Donegal VFW.
IN 2014, he was inducted into the Pennsylvania Winter Sports Hall of Fame and was a culmination of his many years of service to the Pennsylvania and National Ski Patrol.
Dick and his sister formed the Barron’s Landscaping and Floral, due to his love and remarkable eye for the outdoors. He later convert an old barn into Barron’s Red Silo on his majestic farmlands.
Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. There will be no public viewing or services.
