NPR mourns the passing of book editor Petra Mayer at the age of 46

Petra Mayer Death – Cause Of Death: NPR book editor and journalist Petra Mayer has passed away sadly on Saturday 13th November 2021 from a pulmonary blood clot at the age of 46 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Petra Mayer’s death was announced by the National Public Radion on Twitter, he was born in the year 1995 and grew up in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Amherst College where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in history in the year 1996, she proceeded to study at Columbia University where she gained her master’s degree in journalism in the year 1998. She was appointed the editor of NPRin the year 2020.

She was a dedicated editor who loved her job with a passion, she was such a joy to be around. She will be remembered for her unwavering optimism. Petra Mayer Obituary will be released by his family. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased.
