Norwich Free Academy placed on lockdown Monday

NFA Shooting – Norwich Free Academy was placed on code red lockdown Monday morning at about 10 a.m.and police presence was seen around the campus following some uncertain but security reasons, according to the school admin.

The lockdown was lifted at about 11:10 a.m. without any incident, as the school that the safety of students and staff is the number one priority, and NFA is grateful for the assistance of our partners at Norwich Police Department.

It is not immediately known what the exact reason for imposing the lockdown is. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
