Norma-Jean Muirhead identified as victim in Cranston homicide

Norma-Jean Muirhead Death – Cause Of Death: 35-year-old Norma-Jean Muirhead of Calgary and British Columbia has been identified by her family as the victim that was killed in a southeast Calgary neighborhood on Thursday 2nd December 2021.

Police responded to the 500 block of Cranston Drive S.E. at about 3 p.m. on a report of a homicide, upon their arrival they located Norma-Jean inside a parked vehicle, she was declared dead at the scene of the incident. An autopsy proved that she is 35-year-old Norma-Jean Muirhead, a mother of two kids.

Anyone with information on the homicide or who may have seen suspicious activity in the 500 block of Cranston Drive S.E. in the early morning hours on Dec. 2 is asked to call the CPS non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously. Her death is marked as Calgary’s 19th homicide in the year 2021.

A GoFundMe has been organized by Kayla Zeiner to help Norma-Jean her family in these difficult times with her funeral expenses, the page was set to raise $10,000 goal. The sum of $9,120 has been raised as of the time of this report. A statement from the fundraiser says “Hi everyone, this Go Fund me is for Norma-Jean Muirhead. She was 35 years old and a loving mother to 2 wonderful children. She was a vibrant soul who lit up any room she walked into. Norma was warm and compassionate.”
