Nicole Ronnfeldt Obituary – Death : We are deeply saddened to learn that Nicole Ronnfeldt passed away of her injuries on Tuesday October 5, 2021 at a local hospital where she was receiving treatment. It was reported that she died after she crashed into a culvert causing her vehicle to go airborne leaving families, friends and loved ones in great grief and fear.
She was a perfect example of what it means to be a wonderful person. She had a calming presence and was extremely kind, she touched the hearts of so many, and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Causes of Nicole Ronnfeldt’s Death…
First responders were called to the Roger Hollow Road near Townline Road around 3 p.m. after getting a report that a van crashed into a nearby creek. Grant County Sheriff Nate Dreckman said the woman was ejected from her vehicle during the crash.
A Grant County woman died Tuesday after she crashed into a culvert causing her vehicle to go airborne.
Authorities said the woman, 29-year-old Nicole Ronnfeldt of Fennimore, was traveling north on Roger Hollow Road when she traveled off the west side of the road into a ditch before continuing into a culvert which sent the vehicle airborne.
Ronnfeldt was transported to a local hospital for treatment where she later died of her injuries.
Fennimore emergency medical services, police and fire crews, the Lancaster Fire Department and UW Med Flight helped with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office’s response.
The crash is still under investigation. Dreckman said the crash was Grant County’s sixth fatal crash of the year and the third in three days.
