Nick Acocella Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Nick Acocella.

Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.

This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.

Nick Acocella was the Damon Runyon of New Jersey politics. He wrote about a world full of gloriously imperfect people and he did it with incredible humor, heart and insight.

I learned so much from him and was so fortunate to call him a friend.

Nick Acocella was generous with his time & encyclopedic knowledge. He lacked reflexive cynicism about politics, which we debated. And as ⁦

writes:”he was as colorful & crusty as the misunderstood state he lovingly covered.” Rest In Peace

Today the Christie family lost a great friend in New Jersey’s Nick Acocella. I met Nick in 1997 when I was a 33 year old freeholder director in Morris County. He became a friend and confidant and over the next 23 years we spent countless hours on the phone together. What a man!

Words cannot express how much Nick meant. He was a mentor, a sounding board, a lockbox. Most importantly, he was an unwavering friend. He took my son to his first Yanks game and he could talk both 19th century French lit and NJ politics. Just heartbroken.

One of my favorite photos with my friend Nick Acocella—the premiere episode of his public television show “Pasta and Politics”. I was honored to be his first guest and even more honored to call him my friend. Rest In Peace Nick.

Very sad to hear about Nick. Had the great pleasure of discussing New Jersey politics and learning from him for many Fridays on Reporters Roundtable. What a wonderful, funny and kind person. He will be greatly missed.

I loved Nick Acocella. He was not only a great political savant, but a sports expert as well. With his passing, some real joy has gone out of politics in New Jersey. He will be missed.

We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
