Nicholas Spino dead, Roderick Foster injured in Toledo, OH two-car crash

Nicholas Spino Death – Cause of Death: 22-year-old Nicholas Spino, of Toledo, has died from injuries suffered from a two-car accident that happened on Wednesday, December 14, 2021. The incident happened at approximately 2:35 a.m. at the intersection of Byrne Road and Dorr Street in southwest Toledo, Ohio.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Spino, of the 2100 block of Timber Creek Drive was driving his car northbound on Byrne Road when he tried making a left turn onto Dorr Street when he crashed into a pickup truck driven by 38-year-old Roderick Foster, of the 1700 block of Oakwood Avenue heading eastbound on Dorr Street.

Spino suffered serious injuries and life-saving measures were performed on him by firefighters from Toledo. All efforts by the firefighters proved abortive as Spino died of his injuries at the scene of the crash. Foster was transported with non-fatal injuries to University of Toledo Medical Center for medical treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.

Nicholas Spino’s obituary will be released by his family.
