COVID-19 takes parents away from two Hispanic children in just two weeks. Without being able to say goodbye to their little ones, they died in a hospital in Houston.
The coronavirus had no compassion with two Hispanic underage, after two weeks their parents died from COVID-19.
11 and 14 year olds never had time to say goodbye to their parents.
First it was Naomi Esquivel, 39, who got it first. Last July 2th arrived at the hospital but it was too late. That same day he died
HOUSTON, Texas — 14-year-old Isaiah Garcia and 11-year-old Nathan Garcia have lost both parents to Covid-19. As Isaiah stood over his mother’s body at her funeral earlier this month, he thought it was the hardest thing he would do.
Two weeks later, his father died, too.
“I didn’t get to say goodbye to my mom or my dad now, and that’s what hurt me the most right now,” Garcia told ABC13.
His mother, 39-year-old Naomi Esquivel, died on July 2 from COVID-19.
Carlos Garcia, 44, Naomi’s husband of 24 years, attended her funeral with their two sons, Isaiah and 11-year-old Nathan.
Garcia was recovering from the virus when he was hospitalized for kidney failure. On July 17, he was found unresponsive and died from oxygen deprivation. Like Naomi, who was hospitalized only a day, the end they went fast.
Both boys will be taken in by their uncle, who already has four boys.
I can not imagine the grief and pain of losing both my parents in a two week time frame at the age of 14 or 11. These kids may need counseling or therapy to help cope with their loss. I know I did at the age of 42.
If you can find it in your hearts to help these children during this immensely difficult time by donating whatever you can it would greatly help ease the burdens the family and the boys will now have to endure. Please pray for these children and give what you can if you can.
It takes a village to raise a child…. We are their village. God bless
