We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Y family member, friend and youth counselor, Myles Butler. Myles was extremely committed to helping children reach their full potential. His peers and all the children he served were impacted by his love and spirit. Myles has been in the Y family since childhood – growing up playing basketball, coaching and mentoring youth, and even serving as a referee when he was a teenager. We will do our best to lift each other up as we attempt to love and serve just as Myles did each and every day, and we pledge to do all we can to support his family through our actions and prayers. Living fully and loving freely is what we must do each and every day. His life is a vivid reminder of just that.
